FIRE PROTECTION

3G / 4G SMART AUTO-START CONTROLLER

HHS can offer the ability to make your fire protection system remote started, via the 3G/4G Smart Auto-start controller. Our starting controller is unique to others on the market as it incorporates the key start of the motor and also enables you to simply start and stop the fire protection system via the press of a button on your phone. You can also get vital motor information from the controller and it will notify you of any errors via a simple text message.

(please note that adequate mobile reception is required at the location of the pump,  and a diesel electric start motor driven pump is required)

HHS FIRE SYSTEMS

We can individually design the best rooftop fire protection system that suits your specific situation and budget, the options are virtually endless. All the design work and engineering is done right here in WA, so we can alter each system to exactly suit your needs.

There is a system for every budget ranging from ridge line systems running off manual start pumps all the way to ridge line, radiant heat and perimeter protection systems with automated starting, all designed and installed by Hills Hydraulic Solutions.

The fire systems generally run off a petrol or diesel pump with its own water supply so that the system is completely stand alone. As you may be aware the moment there is a fire mains water pressure and power cannot be relied on. Our systems are generally designed around a minimum run time of 2 hours, to comply with this particular section of the Australian Standards 5414. Our systems differ from others as we use marine grade 316 stainless steel fittings and tube to complete the install. This allows us to best match the tube work to the roof profile and reduce the visual impact of the system. The systems will not only look great but last the test of time. You'll be surprised how cost effective these systems are compared to others on the market. Call Luke today to discuss your possible system and get protected for this summer.

OVERVIEW

A fire protection system becomes an important part of preparing your property for the threat of bush fire and along with good fire preparation and awareness will leave you in the best position should the day come that your property is under threat. Generally, these systems are installed on the roof of houses, sheds and outbuildings to provide protection from ember attack and to keep the roof line and surrounding areas wet before, during and after the fire front has passed. In addition, there is also under eve protection, radiant heat protection and perimeter protection, all of which can be installed to best prepare your property.

There are many different options as to what can be fitted to your home and are suitable for all roof types. We at HHS provide a high quality system, and will maximize the effectiveness of your system to suit your water source available, house location, and budget. We have an extensive range of different rooftop sprinklers that provide an effective and efficient coverage to suit each particular scenario.

PUMPS

As there is a system for every budget and application, there is also a varied range of pumps available, dependent firstly on the specific requirements of the system and the location, and of course the budget of the client.

Generally we install a petrol or diesel driven water pump (single or double impeller), this means the system is isolated from the need of power and is completely stand alone. There is a range of different options from pull start petrol's to electric start diesels. Diesel driven pumps would be the preferred choice due to them being more reliable over petrol driven pumps, although with regular running and maintenance a petrol driven unit will perform well.

(it really depends on the preference and budget, although please note if you are thinking of installing Remote Auto start systems to the pump it is advised to ensure an electric start diesel unit is selected)

  • Reduces visual impact of system

  • Can be bent to suit each roof profile, which is much harder and more costly with copper tube

  • No welding required

  • No discoloration like copper systems

  • Can withstand radiant heat unlike plastic systems

  • Tube work can be easily removed if roof repair needs to be completed

  • Marine grade 316 stainless steel fittings and tube, will last and look great

  • 3 year guarantee on the tube work and install (excludes motor/pump/3g starter)
